What it’s actually like

ARRIVAL

A small local tofu shop to stop at while walking from Nada Gogo Sake Brewery to Kobe Shushinkan.

EXPERIENCE

Take a break from sake with fresh atsuage. We bought a three-piece pack, had one piece reheated, and ate it outside on the wooden deck with soy sauce.

SAKE

Not a sake spot. A local break during a bar-hopping route, for stepping away from sake and having gentle food.

GOOD TO KNOW

It is a simple, satisfying food stop between tastings. We were allowed to eat outside on our visit; opening days, hours and any alcohol policy should be checked separately rather than assumed from one visit.
