    WHY THIS EXPERIENCE

Yesterday was about Suwa’s sake. This morning is about the place behind it. Sake brewing in Kamisuwa grew from a town shaped by Suwa Taisha, including brewing for offerings and gifts. Visiting all four shrines adds the cultural landscape behind the sake to the trip.
